Description of Hat

A sewn picture hat with a 6 part crown and wide floppy brim. Trimmed with a top button and a decorative side band. Head sizes: 55cm (21 1/2″), 56cm (22″), 57cm (22 1/2″).

Notions

1.5cm (5/8”) button, 2m (2yards) brim reed + matching size ferrule. 1m (1yard) cotton Petersham ribbon.

Fabrics

Small square cotton gingham, large square cotton gingham, cotton organdie, cotton canvas. 0.5m (½Yard) of each. Can also be made using silk Dupion instead of cotton ginghams.
